After almost a year of denying it, Joaquin Phoenix has made a second appearance on the Letterman show to apologise for his weird behaviour last time when he declared he was leaving acting to become a rapper. His last show was some of the most embarrassingly cringe worthy TV I have seen after Ricky Gervais’ dance on The Office. Apparently the interview was all fakery to add more weight to his new Mockumentary, I’m Still Here, which shows his decline as a person and acting talent. He says it was all done for the sake of art though personally I think the whole thing was a little bit too self-indulgent to be classed as art. Let’s hope that he gets back to what he does best soon and give us the talented acclaimed actor we grew to love through films like Gladiator and Walk The Line. Image: resde 2010-09-23
